Do you know what this nerve pressure scope is?

I run this down your spine at the beginning of each visit, but do you remember how it works?

You’ve probably seen me use this little device, but let’s explain a bit further - it’s called a Nervoscope. It looks like something out of a retro sci-fi movie, but it’s actually one of the most powerful tools I use as a Gonstead chiropractor.
The Nervoscope helps me detect nerve interference. When nerves are irritated or pressured, whether from spinal misalignment or other factors, this irritation can cause changes in blood flow and temperature along the spine. The Nervoscope picks up on those very subtle differences. It’s not just about inflammation, it’s about pinpointing where the nerves are disrupted. The Nervoscope is essentially a "nerve pressure scope". These areas of nerve interference are called subluxations.
I don’t rely on this alone. It’s part of a trifecta, along with X-rays and physical examination. Together, these tools allow me to find the actual problem with precision. It’s not guesswork - it’s science guiding us through your care.
What does this mean for you? It means we’re not just addressing how you feel today, we’re tracking how you heal. As we progress, the Nervoscope can show us when you’re ready to take on more, when we need to ease back, or when it’s time to leave you be because you’re thriving. It’s about giving you confidence that we’re making a long-term difference.
So next time you see me glide this along your spine, know that all we’re checking, is do you need an adjustment today, or not. Because when we see the interference, we can address it and help you truly move forward.
Hugs,
Glenn
